Coca-Cola Presents Trump With Special Gift
The Coca‑Cola Company presented President-elect Donald Trump with a special gift on Tuesday evening — the first ever Presidential Commemorative Inaugural Diet Coke bottle.
James Quincey, Chairman and CEO of Coca-Cola Company, presented Trump with the gift at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home in south Florida.
Margo Martin, Trump’s Deputy Director of Communications, posted the photo of Quincey and Trump at Mar-a-Lago.
“Tonight, President Trump received the first ever Presidential Commemorative Inaugural Diet Coke bottle from the Chairman and CEO of Coca-Cola Company, James Quincey,” she wrote.

Republican communications strategist Matt Whitlock posted on X that the move was likely in part because of the company’s stance against Trump in 2021.
“James Quincey owes President Trump (and Americans) an apology for attacking election integrity in 2021, rallying corporate America against voter ID laws, and pushing for Congress to federalize elections,” Whitlock wrote.

Coca-Cola condemned the January 6, 2021, riot at the U.S. Capitol in a statement posted a day after the event, calling it an “offense to the ideals of American democracy.”
“For nearly 250 years, the United States of America has stood as a beacon for democracy, shining a light for the world on how differing perspectives and ideas can strengthen society,” the statement said. “We are all stunned by the unlawful and violent events that unfolded in Washington, D.C.”
“With the election results now certified, we have faith in America’s democratic institutions to ensure a peaceful transfer of power and allow the U.S. to move forward together as one nation,” the statement added.
