Kid Rock Announces Tour, Says If You Still ‘Believe In Woke, DEI Bulls***,’ Sit These Shows Out

Kid Rock broke the news on Thursday that he was headed back out on tour, but said that if you still “believe in woke, DEI bulls***,” you should probably sit these shows out.

In a video posted on Facebook, the rocker — born Robert James Ritchie — said ahead of his birthday on Friday that he wanted to share the news that he was launching an arena tour — with seven shows this spring — to celebrate President-elect Donald Trump’s victory and uniting the country.

“After so many years of taking s*** and being s*** on by the powers that be, the left-wing media, I think a celebration with the fans isn’t only in order, it’s overdue,” Kid Rock said. “You know I still believe that now’s not the time to gloat, it’s definitely time to try to unite this country.”

“But it’s also definitely time to celebrate with some other like-minded, common sense, hard-working, patriots who unapologetically love this country,” he added. “I mean come one come all, I don’t care what your politics are.”

“But if you still believe that men should be in women’s sports or women’s bathrooms are good things,” Ritchie continued. “If you believe in cancel culture, and still believe in political correctness, or if you still believe in all this woke, DEI bulls***, you should probably sit these shows out. You’re probably not going to have too good of a time.”

News of the arena tour by the rock star comes following an announcement by the Trump-Vance Inaugural Committee that superstars Carrie Underwood and Jason Aldean, along with Ritchie, will be just a few of the singers participating in the various inauguration events.

At a rally before the inauguration, Kid Rock and country singer Billy Ray Cyrus will perform along with the American disco band the Village People, who will also sing at one of the inaugural balls.

Underwood will sing “America the Beautiful” at the swearing-in ceremony, and American Tenor Christopher Macchio will sing the National Anthem. Lee Greenwood will also perform.

“The pageantry is wonderful. I’m excited about all of that,” Greenwood told The Associated Press. “I’m excited to sing yet again for President of the United States and particularly my friend Donald J. Trump.”

On the day of the inauguration, several balls will take place with Jason Aldean, Rascal Flatts, singer Gavin DeGraw, and country star Parker McCollum booked to entertain guests. The breakdown of those performances can be found here.
