‘The View’ Hosts Air Collective Temper Tantrum Over Trump Admin Deporting Criminals
The hosts of ABC News’ midday talk show “The View” aired what amounted to a collective temper tantrum on Tuesday, complaining about the fact that President Donald Trump had unshackled federal agents and tasked them with enforcing immigration law.
The broadcast began with regular host Whoopi Goldberg, who responded to actress Selena Gomez’ tearful video claiming that her “people” were being attacked. Goldberg then falsely claimed that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents were indiscriminately sweeping up any and all illegal immigrants for immediate deportation.
Border czar Tom Homan, who spoke to NewsNation host Chris Cuomo last week, explained that the agents are targeting criminal aliens first — meaning those who have committed additional crimes beyond simply entering the United States illegally — but that because some of them are hiding in sanctuary jurisdictions, there have also been some “collateral” arrests.
Goldberg complained that the Trump administration was not beginning by deporting people who were already in prison because they’d been convicted of crimes. Joy Behar, ignoring the fact that they were American citizens and had already been pardoned, claimed that Trump couldn’t do that because he’d “have to send the January 6th people back too.”

Cohost Sara Haines complained that no one was providing details to the public about who had been detained by ICE and what their alleged crimes might be — but the White House has, in fact, been posting the photos and rap sheets of some of the worst offenders that have been picked up thus far in raids across the country.

Sunny Hostin pivoted to play the race card, claiming that “undocumented immigrants” statistically committed fewer crimes than American citizens, and then parsed the language to say that it was racist to call someone “illegal” and argued that illegal aliens should not be called “criminals” because crossing the border illegally was technically a “civil offense.”
Staunchly racist Sunny Hostin claims, without evidence, lashes out at America and falsely claims only “brown” illegals were being deported:

Hostin went on to claim that the Trump deportation initiative was racially motivated: “We have decided as a country to demonize a certain type of immigrant, a certain looking type of immigrant, and those immigrants are either from Central America or Mexico, they are brown.”
She concluded by complaining that the United States lacked “empathy” for illegal immigrants.
Staunchly racist Sunny Hostin scoffs at Debrina Kawam the woman who was set on fire and killed in the NYC subway by an illegal:

Alyssa Farah Griffin weighed in then, noting that the American people would not be convinced by statistics as long as their personal experiences told a different story. She referenced the woman who was set on fire and left to die on a New York City subway — an act committed by an illegal immigrant who “never should have been in the country,” and Hostin attempted to rebuff her.
“They should care about the stats and the facts,” Hostin insisted.
